Step Jaws for MMS/ZMMS
Our step jaws for MMS/ZMMS are ideal for
cost-effective production of irregular and parallel workpieces. In our production facility, 25 motivated employees work with the expertise required in our high-tech field and process your workpieces with care. The Schleif-Tec team is highly motivated and specialized in various precision parts. Our skilled workers process a wide variety of parts such as step jaws through machining and precision grinding. The production site is located in the four-country region [Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Switzerland] in the heart of the Rhine Valley.
Out of interest in continuous
improvement of a production process, we developed our own
high-quality step jaws, which we use on our CNC machining centers. The step jaws for MMS/ZMMS are designed to provide new time advantages in production and sustainably increase efficiency. After a successful test phase, we want to make our claw jaws accessible to other production companies so they can better focus on other challenges in the production process.
Functionality
With our step jaws for multiple vises (SVF), it is possible to achieve absolutely secure clamping conditions with irregular workpieces, castings, or flame-cut parts. Our step jaws are hardened to 60° HRC, enabling very heavy loads and providing a long service life. Even heavy machining is possible under these conditions. Furthermore, minimal material loss can be achieved through clamping depths of 2.5mm. A major time advantage comes from 5-sided machining through a
single setup. Otherwise, reclamping would be necessary, which would mean work and time that can now be saved.
Manufacturing
All our step jaws for MMS/ZMMS are manufactured entirely in Vorarlberg. In our state-of-the-art production facility in Götzis, 100% of the parts are manufactured with the utmost care.
